This is June 4th 1979 ! The execution of the Generals who weren't given a trail was the most dastardly act ever .There were business tycoons who lost everything namely Boakye Mattress,  kawus motors and RT Briscoe.


Go deep into the human right abuse ever to be unleashed Today in history! The beginning of the worst human rights abuse ever to be unleashed on the long suffering people of Ghana.
 

These were local businesses, run by Ghanaians. GENERAL Acheampong had introduced the principle of promoting Ghanaian businesses - all businesses in Ghana should have 51 percent Ghanaian ownership. 

If we had continued on that course we would have been just like Singapore πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬ or South Korea πŸ‡°πŸ‡· 
During the era of the Generals we produced cars namely Boafo and Adom . We made Tvs and radios πŸ“»- Akasanoma.  
And not to mention the host of factories and industries in Tema and North Kaneshie. 

The above actions in 1979 ushered in a dark period in our history and the effects are still with us .

Over two days at the end of May 1946, 28 German war criminals were hanged at Landsberg am Lech prison in Germany (US War Criminals Prison No. 1). The  Nuremberg executions  took place on 16 October 1946, shortly after the conclusion of the Nuremberg trials. Ten prominent members of the political and military leadership of Nazi Germany were executed by hanging: Hans Frank, Wilhelm Frick, Alfred Jodl, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, Wilhelm Keitel, Joachim von Ribbentrop, Alfred Rosenberg, Fritz Sauckel, Arthur Seyss-Inquart, and Julius Streicher.  Hermann GΓΆring was also scheduled to be hanged on that day, but committed suicide using a potassium cyanide capsule the night before.  Martin Bormann was also sentenced to death  in absentia ; at the time his whereabouts were unknown, but it is now thought that he committed suicide or was killed by Soviet troops while attempting to escape Berlin on 2 May 1945. The capture of brave Russian officer Rosinski This is a shocking image and I apologize in advance for sharing it, but here’s one that truly got to me… in Belarus, 1918, after WWI had already ended, the brave Russian officer Rosinski was captured by the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks tortured the captain, likely to get information out of the man, which he bravely refused to give. After that, they simply continued with the torture out of some sick sense of innate cruelty. He was ‘the enemy’ and he was at their mercy, so they brutally murdered their captive. The brave captain was emasculated. And anally impaled on a tree branch. All this while still alive. 1852, a dark portrait now reveals a heart-breaking history ....  A few years ago I was asked to restore, and colourise this portrait by someone who had a very nice, but dark, and gloomy print of it.  They had no idea who she was, but they'd fallen in love with this fragile, and very naturally beautiful young woman who lived over 170 years ago. Recently a friend in the U.S. had stumbled on the image with the family history behind it, and to be honest I was a little saddened to learn of her fate ... "When Anna Sullivan Waters was born in 1833, her father, Thomas, was 35, and her mother, Ruth, was 31. She married Zachariah John Waters on June 7, 1851, in Centerville, Tennessee.  They had one surviving child during their marriage a son William M Cornelius "Neal" Waters.
